Types of Product Conformity Certificates in the Kingdom
Product Conformity Certificate
(PCOC)
A certificate issued by the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO). It is mandatory for all products manufactured in the Kingdom or imported from abroad.
A mark placed on low-voltage electrical equipment and children’s toys, issued through the GCC Standardization Organization (GSO). The mark confirms that products comply with Gulf technical regulations and standards.
A certificate issued by the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) to ensure that imported products are inspected at Saudi customs. The SCoC is issued through the SABER e-system and is considered mandatory for special products and for products not covered by Saudi technical regulations.
